How an online round starts
Open makeupgame3d.com, choose a face, set a mode, then press Play Free. The WebGL 3D face loads only after that click — the studio does not autoplay. Home is where you lock the session rules before paint begins.
- Pick Maya or Lina. Same brush rail on both; the mesh is what changes.
- Pick a mode: Quick 90s, Free studio, or Classic 9 min.
- Press Play Free. On the first studio visit, choose a starter: Daily, Sweet, Gothic, or Blank.
- Paint on the face. Use Orbit only when you need to turn the head.
Nothing you paint is uploaded. Drafts and the gallery stay in this browser’s local storage for this origin.
Maya or Lina — one game, two faces
You choose the model on Home before Play Free. Switching faces does not install a second app; it reloads the mesh you paint on. Both faces accept the full rail: eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, gloss, eyeliner, brow, foundation, concealer, contour, highlight, contacts, glitter, and eraser. If you want a different face mid-session, return to Home and start again — the draft may still be waitable under Resume draft when this browser still holds it.
Modes: clock and coins
Mode only changes the clock and whether a finished painted face can award coins. It does not gate brushes or starters.

Starters: Daily, Sweet, Gothic
The first studio visit asks for a starter so the 3D face is not a blank canvas. Each starter already places a mouth, a cheek, and an eye shadow.

Those three colors are baked into the starter, not a photo filter. After that, each round also has a theme palette of six chips. Suggested fills the selected brush from the starter first, then from the theme. Settings holds a full grid plus Custom when a color is missing from that row.
Orbit vs paint
Online makeup games often use one drag for both paint and rotate. Makeup Rush 3D splits them on purpose:
- Drag on the face to paint. That drag never rotates the head.
- Press Orbit, then drag, to turn the head. Orbit is the only rotate control.
- Scroll or pinch to zoom. A two-finger pinch does not paint.
- Eyeshadow closes the eyes while that brush is selected. Clip to lids & lips keeps color on the lid or mouth.
- Settings includes view presets: Face, Eyes, Lips, and Reset view.
Mirror starts on for eyes, liner, brows, and blush; lipstick and gloss start with Mirror off so you shape the mouth yourself. Contacts stamp a new iris once — dragging does not repeat the stamp. Undo, redo, Mirror, Orbit, and Settings sit under the face. Finish scores out of 100 from coverage, theme-palette match, and tool/color variety. A nearly empty face scores zero. You play solo.
Coins, gallery, and what stays free
A new browser starts with 500 coins. Painting never needs a checkout or account. Coins unlock optional extras only:
- Neon Glow palette, 300 coins
- Macaron palette, 300 coins
- Gilded Metal palette, 500 coins
- Aurora theme, 200 coins
Base brushes and the Daily / Sweet / Gothic starters stay available either way. Save to gallery stores up to eight looks in this browser. Share and Download stay on your device — there is no cloud album. Clearing site data for this origin removes the gallery and the draft.
